Parliament won’t limit the length nor censure a bit of DJT’s speech.
There are yet to implement 19 of Trump’s 20-point peace plan.
Applause was overwhelming. So was PM Bebe’s (an indited war criminal) speech praising DJT.
Many of us share the joy, not what Americans did, but for the release of hostages.

The US Center of Disease Control will not tell us about the power and usefulness of prayer. Sometimes I count my lucky stars that my parents baptized me and I continue to practice Catholocism. My Mom used to say, “Be careful what you pray for.” Well, even if you may not be a believer, praying does not hurt. Being positive in the face of hazards is a bit of common sense.
People are not at high risk unless you come in contact with the virus. One major issue is that medical researchers do not know enough data about this virus. Recall that there are thousands of viruses that have been identified and Covid 19 is newly discovered and very puzzling. On the deep end of the knowledge spectrum, some leaders are making decisions based on ignorance and stupidity.
Businessmen and scientists know how to do cost-benefit analyses. This is a common sense strategy for making good decisions that ain’t observed being used this week.
We can blame the news bureaus or just take what they are reporting with a grain of salt. News… garbage in, garbage out for reporting. Perhaps we cannot blame them for what is reported. Nonetheless, the Trump Administration has CNN as a scapegoat.
You will not read about the efficacy/benefits of prayer in the CDC’s weekly Morbidity and Mortality Report, but it has real value… more than we can measure.

I wonder how long this boasting and unlawfulness and unethical behavior will continue. My wish was to have a new president by Saint Valentines’ Day. I am not just disappointed, but no longer proud of our group of 100 elected senators.
Most notably, my old colleagues from Indiana (Senators Todd Y. and Mike B.), Florida’s Senator Marco Rubio, Coloradoan Cory Gardner, and Alaskan Senator O’WhatsHerName are sure to be damned unless they repent and vote to remove this man who was not elected by popular vote of American citizens but by the outdated Electoral College.

In a concerted effort to get everyone involved and cooperating on-the-same-page, the Vice President [and I wish Joe would become our 45th President] has coined a “Moon Shots Program” for the Cancer Community.
This Cancer Community appears to be operating in its own individualist self-interest. If only researchers, doctors/oncologists, colleges and foundations, patients and their codependents and helpers, philanthropists, and others would work together to find cures for many types of cancer, we Americans who suffer – and the human race – would be better off.
Joe is not far off by comparing the American effort during the 1960s to a current emphasis on cancer solutions and prevention for our current decade, which has only four years remaining.
The urgency is now to get egos and financial incentives directed toward non-selfish results . . . and hurry before my best friend dies!
As national champion Coach Jimmy Valvano said weeks before his death, “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up!”

Throw Back Weekend Memories
Just thinking about how sweet times were. We spent quality time whenever together. In retrospect, loving relationships are usually not so positive as ours was.
Sure times were tough but together it didn’t seem to mind us. Both extroverts, we didn’t lose sight and one-on-one connection we had. There were so many things to enjoy. Even the mundane was joyful.
What made my last love wonderful is that we both loved God. With none of my past romantic relationships was this so true. Sundays we were happy to explore different Christian worship and Bible study services together.
Given our common interests and times we spent, it is hard to believe we have not seen or spoken for more than a year. The miles and circumstances have kept us apart.
I thought a reunion was iniment after she got out of prison. I was thinking that she wanted to build back her self-esteem before living together as we had planned. I was willing to wait.
Now we have missed spending a Christmas, birthdays, and Mothers’ Day together. We still have our memories when meeting in the Rocky Mountains. Thus my hope has waned. Yet my love remains.
My last love. I understand how other people who might have spent decades married cannot form another loving relationship. While never married I feel like I was fully committed.
What a “sap”. I still carry around the letters, the last ones written last September 2015, she sent me from prison in Northern Nevada.
Fortunately, she was released early. She never should have been incarcerated but perhaps you have seen how determined insurance company lawyers can be. Her crime was to take her elderly mother’s car, without asking permission, across state lines into California and totaling the sedan. Mom was too upset to halt the legal proceedings. I have seven month of love letters sent from prison to prove it. A good prisoner she was. Quickly becoming a trustee helping to prepare meals for about 55 fellow prisoners.
When you read this, perhaps God, you will urge her to get in touch with me, soon.

Reno gets what it deserves… a series of earthquakes today on Christmas Eve, Eve.
The so-called “Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada” are not a Roman Catholic organization any longer. Run by bureaucrats and funded by federal, state, Washoe County, Douglas County, City of Reno, City of Sparks funds, and private charitable contributions from well-meaning Americans and others just looking for an income tax write-off.
Please give the needy what they need. Solutions, not excuses and half-baked ideas.
RENO (Nevada) ! Oh the way they treat houseless people is disgusting… the ghetto on Record Street, created by the Reno City Council, is a joke!
Catholic Charities USA in Reno Nevada is NOT A CATHOLIC ORGANIZATION but a group collecting federal, state, local, and private donations to cover their “administrative costs” and serve those god-awful lunches at St. Vincent’s Dining Room (no relation to St. Vincent of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (headquartered in the Archdiocese of St. Louis)… ‘come on, man!
